The Ray-Vin Classic is a 1" diameter stand that departs from the traditional take-down stands. Our stand features a heavy, one-piece, stainless steel tubular rod that is 48" long. This is long enough for offhand, yet short enough to easily carry and stow.
(Not recomended for scopes without angled eyepiece.The Ray-Vin, One-Action, scope head is the heart of Ray-Vin Scope Stands and was invented to fill the need for a straight forward, no-nonsense scope head. This scope head is the only scope mount that allows you to aim your scope with a single action. All other scope heads require two or more actions to aim, having separate adjustments for elevation and windage.
The geometry of the tripod base allows the 12" legs to be folded up or down completely. The legs never touch each other, not like some other stands where the legs must be folded half way first.
