We were developing our own quick detach for spotting scopes when another shooter
brought the Bogan Manfrotto 3299 to our attention.
I bought one for myself and I think it is so good that we have abandoned plans to make our
own and offer this excellent system instead.
Your scope or camera is mounted and removed in a moment with a cam lock lever that tightens for a no-rock grip.
A secondary safety lever makes sure the cam lever can't be bumped loose dropping expensive equipment
This works with all scopes, cameras, etc. that have the standard 1/4-20 thread mounting system.
EWING OWNERS: The Ewing head has a lug that sticks out and interferes with mounting the QD portion
of this system. Not recommended for use with the Ewing scope head.
