The Ray-Vin Tactical Tripod is a sturdy, lightweight and extremely functional spotting scope mount for tactical and scout/sniper operations. These tripods have been developed at the suggestion of Members of Special Operations Forces and are now in service with the US military and US law enforcement. Then some members of the special operations community saw our scope stand and asked us to make a special version specific for their mission. The result was the M-2004 tripod. The Ray-Vin Tactical Tripod is the civilian version, all the same except for the finish. The Ray-Vin Tactical Tripod is lightweight at 2-1/2 pounds (without scope) and compact at only 12" overall. With the legs folded up and the scope at the top of the rod, one can rest the base for a quick spy while on the move. The head is designed to stay on the scope and can be locked parallel to the scope when removed for silent transport. An excellent choice for back packers and hunters because of its light weight, compact size and rugged construction. (Scope not included. Not recommended for scopes larger than 70MM.)
