This page is presented to show the thread systems currently being used on Ray-Vin Scope Stands. Also, if you have a discontinued thread system it will help you identify what you have.

Current 1" Rod Threads:

Our current 1" rods use a precision tapered thread similar to a well drillers thread. This system is quite robust.
All top rod ends have the female thread to accept taper thread knobs and extensions.
All extensions have both the male and female thread.
All bottom rods have only the top female thread to except knobs and extensions and both mount in the "A" and "F" tripod bases.

Discontinued 1" Rod Threads:

Above is the discontinued top thread, 15/16-20. This thread wasn't sturdy enough for an extension.
